Atmosphere is Everything
We get it. Being home and working can be a drag, especially when the weather is getting so nice, and you are indoors. However, if you are doing many team meetings online and using zoom, you want to consider working in different spaces. Whether you are at home, working in an office or renting an office space, we all need to work on keeping our mental health in check. So, to create a working atmosphere that works for you, whether a clean blank desk, working from your roof, opening the windows, or doing whatever you need to do to make your working space more accepting.
We do bookkeeping for quite a few businesses, and we know first hand that feeling good about your working environment, especially during these times, is so important. You will be able to get so much more work done. If you are in an office, there is usually not much that you can change, but if you are at home, you have more creativity to change up your space. The one nice thing about the traditional work environments changing is that now most people are not tethered to a desk and a chair and can create an office where they choose. Sometimes, even in the social world, people need to walk away from their job for an hour to regroup. So it is nice that the work climate is changing, and people can essentially be plugged in when they need to be.
